Tickets for the Bellerive Oval One-Day International between Australia and England and the three KFC Twenty20 Big Bash Matches set to feature some of the nation’s best cricketers will go on sale from tomorrow.

In an exciting summer of cricket at Bellerive Oval the second One-Day International day/night match is on Friday the 21st of January 2011, while the PKF Tasmanian Tigers will also fight it out in January against Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia in the three KFC Twenty20 Big Bash fixtures scheduled at Bellerive Oval.

CT Chief Executive David Johnston said Tasmanian cricket enthusiasts should get in early to ensure they don’t miss out.

“The ODI between traditional rivals England and Australia will sell-out quickly and as a first, Bellerive Oval will sell KFC Twenty20 Big Bash tickets prior to the matches in January to ensure patrons gain priority access on the evening, with special Christmas discounts also offered to those who purchase before December 20th 2010.

“Prior to the January excitement we will also be hosting a Tour Match featuring Australia A and England from the 17th of November until the 20th where fans will hopefully get to see some of Tasmania’s best cricketers take on an international team,” Johnston said.

While ODI tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster outlets (including Bellerive Oval), on-line or by calling 136 100 from tomorrow, the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash tickets can only be purchased at Bellerive Oval during business hours from tomorrow and the Tour Match tickets on sale at Bellerive Oval only from the 2nd of August 2010.
